Buying: Our brokerage is usually paid from the commission offered by the seller, often 2% or 2.5% of the sale price in our transactions. When that covers the fee agreed in your buyer representation agreement, you do not pay an additional brokerage fee. We explain the arrangement, including any possible shortfall, before you sign.

Selling: Our usual arrangement is 2% of the sale price for listing services, plus 2% offered to the buyer’s brokerage, for a total of 4% plus HST. Commission rates and the amount offered to the buyer’s brokerage are negotiable and confirmed in your listing agreement.
